Morning's Window (Quiet) | 03.22.08 | Audio
It's been a while! Here is a different mix that Johnny just did of one of our newer, unreleased songs called "Morning's Window."
We also took part in something called the White Elephant Record Exchange Project - you can read more details and download all the songs for free on this site!
Some of the people that took part in this besides me and Johnny include Olie (the curator of the project) and Doug from Corespondents, Ian from Snowman Plan, and Kevin as well as a lot of other Seattle musicians.

A while ago in October we played a live radio set with Corespondents on KEXP, and pretty soon you'll be able to listen to the recording on the radio for the first time! There will also be a podcast of the show available.
Febuary 23rd (at midnight) is when you can listen live on 90.3 FM. You can stream the show from the website for 2 weeks after that. Here is Sonarchy Radio's website.
Also coming up soon is a show at the Comet on January 24th. The lineup: Cock and Swan; Beast, Please Be Still; Daguerreotypes; and the Dating Pool.
Oh and one more thing: we have been sending out a lot of presskits and cds in the last few weeks, so don't forget to request us on the radio!
Here is the KEXP DJ request link!

Hare Today, Goon Tomorrow | 08.17.07 | Download
This is a track that Olie, Doug, Ola and I recorded last night after a Cock and Swan practice. We used our four-track cassette recorder and did multiple performances at a time.
track 1: Doug on guitar, Olie on drumset
track 2: Ola on piano (the old rickety piano from the Dearborn House) Olie on pedal steel.
track 3: Me on bass, Olie playing glockenspiel
track 4: Ola on synth, Doug hitting synth bells, Olie and I clapping.
We also added a couple of things after the fact, like noise that is triggered when the bass isn't playing. It sounds like DJ scratching or an air pump or something.
we hope you like it!

One Hundred Live, Tectonic Plates | 08.06.07 | Download
This is a live version of "One Hundred" that we did last night on our 4-track. We were inspired to do some recording while listening to a crate-full of Brad Dunn's 4-track tapes.
The only overdub on this song was some piano and vocals that we did together.
We also put up a mix of a new song on MySpace. It's from our upcoming CD, Marshmallow Sunset, and you can listen to it here.
There's more coming soon! Ola is working on some long-awaited website improvements too.

Update | 07.20.07 | News
Hey guys!
How's it going with us? We're just kickin' back a little bit. We've taken the month off to finish Marshmallow Sunset.
We've been slowly collecting songs for our bio pages. So far we've got Olie's, Doug's and Kevin's songs up. I just wrote mine on the guitar, but I haven't had a chance to record it.
Aside from the music stuff Ola and I have been locking ourselves in our white brick cave with our five fans running full power and listening to Loveline while eating otterpops!
We are still expecting some music from Sweet Potatoes and Evening Plains and definitely some compilations. Please-oh-please e-mail us if there's anything on your mind. Enough about us... how are you?

Two Old Songs | 07.01.07 | Download
These are two songs we recorded during our four tracking days.
"Weird Style" is a song of almost all Casio sounds.
(You can download the mp3 with the link below, or stream it with the flash player.)
Weirdstyle
"At a Remote Bus Stop" is one of the first times Ola sang on a song. It was recorded when we owned four organs, all of which were broken in different ways.
